Seeker Micro ROV System

The Seeker ROV System is a Micro Class ROV boasting an array of options only seen in larger ROV’s.  As a Micro Class ROV System, the Seeker can be launched by a single person and transported easily from site to site.

The Seeker is constructed around four (4) high performance thrusters which provide the system with movements in the forward/reverse, lateral and vertical directions.   The system utilises the latest technologies available including fibre optics for transmission of video and data as well as the latest high accuracy 3-axis compass & LED technology.   As standard the system is fitted with dual simultaneous video channels which can transmit video from a choice of up to 4 video channels. To complement the system, the latest LED technology is used to provide up to 4400 Lumens of white light giving clear true colour pictures.

The Seeker is controlled via the intuitive hand controller designed to provide the pilot with all the necessary controls at the touch of the hand.  The hand controller is fitted with 2 x Sensitive 3-Axis joysticks to control the ROV and Camera tilt platform.  The controller is also fitted with a sealed membrane pad with a variety of controls through dials and tactile buttons.

The Topside interface is a PC based control system. The interface is designed to give the user all the required information needed to interface with the ROV.  A user defined setup menu also allows the operator to configure the interface to suit the preferences.

A perfect tool for all industries requiring the light weight state of the art inspection tool.

Seeker VST

The Seeker VST ROV System follows on from the Cetrax Seeker Micro ROV.  The system is an upgrade from the Seeker Micro with the additional of two (2) extra thrusters.  As with the Cetrax Predator Inspection ROV, the Seeker VST has four horizontal thrusters configured in a vectored formation.  The thrusters are set at 45 degrees with the option to adjust the rear thrusters to 45, 30 or 20 degrees. The system is designed to provide a solid high performance platform whilst maintaining low weight for the single operator.

The Seeker VST utilises technology installed in the standard Seeker ROV as well as introducing further options.  This includes the state of the Art LED lighting system, two (2) simultaneous camera signals, option of 4 camera input, high accuracy heading & depth sensors and the comprehensive system diagnostics.

The Seeker VST is controlled via the intuitive hand controller designed to provide the pilot with all the necessary controls at the touch of the hand.

A user defined setup menu also allows the operator to configure the interface to suit the required preferences.

Predator

The new 300m rated Inspection Class ROV system from Cetrax Systems has been developed to meet the ever demanding markets for rugged and reliable underwater viewing systems. The ROV has been developed using the latest high reliability technology designs for maximum operating efficiency in marine operations.

Reliability has always been foremost in the development of this ROV package and with the inclusion of a network control system the functional design will assure continuous performance in all operations.

Added to this efficient control system, all vehicle functions are monitored by high capability diagnostic electronics which will isolate fault sectors that may be problematic, without loss of control to the ROV.

The thrusters are assembled using efficient brushless DC motors with magnetic coupling to prop blades, permitting the thrusters to run without the necessity for shaft seals thus vastly improving reliability and reducing maintenance attention.

In order to reduce drag and improve the ROV performance, most of the electronics have been designed to fit under the buoyancy module on the vehicle frame.

The tether cable is the main cause of drag with an ROV.  Cetrax has effectively designed the power systems to accommodate a reduced size of the tether to around 16mm diameter (Neutrally Buoyany) which significantly increases the vehicles manoeuvrability and versatility.

The hand controller for the system is designed to be portable and houses the control joysticks, dials and membrane pad buttons, all of which are sealed from water ingress.

The hand controller functions can be customised by utilisation of the surface control system setup interface.

The ROV has been designed to function in all market sectors around the world including Oil & Gas, military, fisheries, inshore survey, scientific and many more....

The full ROV system comprises of a Surface Control Unit (SCU), Surface Power Unit (SPU), Surface Hand Controller (SHC), Tether Cable and the ROV vehicle.

Options include:  sonar, various additional cameras, addl lighting, laser scaling, altimeter and much more…
